We finally
made it!!! This class has been a huge
workload and there were times that I never thought we would see the other end,
but it was all worth it! I learned a lot
about myself and my own health and how important every aspect of health truly
should be! In unit 3, my current
standings were:
Physical
Well-Being: 3
Spiritual
Well-Being: 7
Mental Well-Being:
5
Now, I would
say that my physical well-being is the same, my spiritual well-being is the
same, but my mental well-being has increased to 6. I am hoping that now that I have a little bit
more time to myself that I will be able to focus more on my physical and
spiritual health.
I haven’t
made much progress towards the goals that I set previously, but I think that I have
started the preparation to actually working toward these goals. I think that it is important for me to make
some actual lifestyle changes and be really ready to do this. I fall back on bad and easy habits too often,
so I think that I need to take more time beforehand to ensure I have everything
in place so I can really focus making these changes.
I have
actually really enjoyed blogging. Though
the workload has been difficult, it was fun to blog and post with peers in a
less formal way. I think that finding an
outlet and a way to process your thoughts, such as blogging, is important when
you are in a profession of assisting other people. It is a good way to let off steam and really
focus on what it is that is on your mind.
Hello Sandra,
ReplyDeleteGreat picture on this post! It seems pretty important to be able to replace lifestyle changes with something (usually better lifestyle choices)...habits are a bugger, I struggle with certain habits and it can be really challenging...
Take care.

Bad habits are so seductive! But if you just keep pushing forward you will get there! I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavors!
